ABOUT ME

My partner and I love travelling and try to use every moment to explore something new. We would love to explore the countries in Europe we have not yet visited together.
We typically choose airbnb for our stays but that often lacks connect and communication with local people. Couchsurfing is just right for that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My good friend first introduced me to CouchSurfing and I met her CouchSurfing friends when travelling. That led me to creating my own account about 10 years ago.
I first registered in CS before Euro2012 - held in Ukraine in 2012 - to host football fans (as prices in our location went up due to the championship and I wanted to help...). I hosted two people and it was great! We went together to football fans parades, fan zone meet ups, I showed them around our city.
My second experience was on a trip to India in 2016. My friend and I stayed with a wonderful host in Jaipur. That was one of the best memories from that trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Despite my somewhat limited experience with Couchsurfing so far I highly respect this network and its philosophy and would like to explore it further. I think our commonly shared love for traveling and exploring will contribute to that!

Interests

Visiting new places, being a "navigator" when traveling.
Organizing and planning get-togethers for my friends and family.
Creating everything I can create with my hands: paintings, floral compositions, food and desserts. So, whenever I don't work I love arts & crafts and being creative.
We also have electric scooters and constantly explore the locations nearby and farther away in addition to walking a lot.
Recently we also took up tennis and are learning windsurfing.
