My name is Anabela. I'm Argentinian and I consider myself to be "a free spirit". I enjoy teaching English and I LOVE TRAVELLING. I have travelled extensively along Argentina and I've been to the USA on several occasions, including a year-long stay with the Au Pair In America program. I have visited Europe once. In Latin America I've been to Brazil, Chile and Mexico. I do yoga and enjoy reading in my free time. Currently, I'm studying to become a Yoga Teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had an amazing experience hosting an Italian couple through Couchsurfing a couple of years ago. Much later, on January 1st, 2021 I came to Viedma, Rio Negro, on holiday and I liked it so much that I decided to stay and live here for a while. I'm currently living alone in a studio apartment so this gives me the chance to welcome travellers (one at the time ha) and have the opportunity of showing them around this beautiful place. I love exchanging travelling experiences so I think being on this platform is a great opportunity to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, especially in English. I like pop, rock 'n roll and alternative music.
I enjoy reading about different topics such as metaphysics, self-help, novels or business. My favourite book of all times is "The voice down under". Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings are among my favourite books, as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In May 2016, while I was visiting Las Vegas I flew in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon of Colorado.
In 2018, on the last weekend of my stay in Mexico I participated in a Temaxcal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy my job as a teacher of English very much. I mostly work with teenagers and adults. Not only do I teach them a new language but I like sharing my own experiences while travelling and inspiring them to be adventurous. Due to the pandemic I began teaching English online so I would love to become a "digital nomad", i.e. I'd like to live a life full of travelling while teaching online from wherever I am.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories of adventure not only in the places I've visited but from my daily routine. I'm good at reading maps, organizing trips and everything that has to do with the logistics of a journey so I could help them with their own itineraries.
