About Me
ABOUT ME
we met as future biologists and ended up travelling together far away from pipettes and labs, searching for something bigger than our society's (micro)bubble-worlds.
both of us did part of our studies abroad (in different places), and traveled extensively around our europe.. meeting inspiring people and hearing fascinating stories, leaving us even more eager for travel, further and deeper.
after our single travelling experiences we ended up with the same wish to take off our european glasses and experience other colors. suddenly we now find ourselves in india for 4 months!
Interests
ana: since two years ago, i'm living in the netherlands and research in development biology should have been occupying most of my time. however i've found a way to have a parallel life filled of cinema (http://www.ante-cinema.com/author/abernardo/), photography (http://www.flickr.com/photos/anambernardo), art and meeting new people. although loving what i do, and intending to start my phd in january, i still doubt about my future path.
a difficult choice in a world with so many possibilities.
joana: if ana has doubts i have even more so.. after my bachelor, i decided to pause my studies and think. go back to sweden, where i was born. i have now been living in sweden for one year, and i ended up working at the great organization, greenpeace. the environment and human rights has been occupying my thoughts more and more lately, and i am now trying to figure out how i can pursue this path. meanwhile, i find time to write, travel, draw, read and finding myself in random situations.
