About Me

I'm a spontaneous person having a big time to define myself in something specific, so don't get attached to what will follow this 'cause probably it's not exactly like that.

Some general guidelines would be loving music and dance - and no, I'm not a good dancer, I just enjoy dancing.
I need some hours of intense sporting to deal with my anxiety - which does not mean I'm sporty or good at sports. Again, I just enjoy it.
I enjoy reading, watching, hearing and knowing love stories, so feel free to tell me yours, or suggest books, movies, songs - I would be pleased to know new ones.

I'm very close to believe that there is magic in this world when I watch a live orchestra and some concerts - what's that about musicians, synchronism and melody being so perfect all together? When I'm there I honestly believe it's some kind of magic, when I leave I'm admiring more musicians and their ability.

Finally I think passion is like fuel for doing stuff in life, so I can be quite passionate about what I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First I got in here in 2013 because of a suggestion of a foreign guy living in Brazil. At that time I did not understand this couch surfing idea very well and never actually used my account.

Then in 2015 I was living abroad and met some people that start talking about couch surfing, and also made some friends that met each other in events on couch surfing. So I start to understand how it works and finally now I'm using and enjoying it.

Short version: I'm now on couch surfing to meet new people interest in knowing different cultures and exchanging stories, knowledge, experience, friendship.
I don't use to travel much in life, but maybe that will change in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't pick favorites for a profile. It changes all the time!
But well, we can start a conversation about that ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Facing my fears and limits is always amazing.

The last one was during a hike, there was a lake and the water was really low and people decided to cross one part of the lake.
I almost freaked out (i'm a very urban girl, nature stuff for me is a big mystery and challenge all the time), but I did it.
I was so proud and happy when I reached the other side and realize I could and actually I did it.
:D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit about tolerance, respect and understanding. Not that I am perfect practicing it, but I have some good theory and experience on it. It's quite easy to be judgmental of the others when we don't know them well, and it's very hard to be humble enough to apologize and recognize you made a mistake - but it's not impossible, and makes everything around you better.

On the other hand I think this is also the very same thing I need to learn - how to be more tolerant, respectful and understanding. I think if you stay in your comfort zone you will always be "good enough", but meeting new people, new cultures, histories and experiences makes you realize that you still have a lot to learn - and the only way to do it is sharing it with people who have different cultures, histories, experiences, perspectives, background.
