About Me
ABOUT ME
Rarely using CS now, since I live catching up with friends, but I am in very rare occasions planning a two day discover of a city. The following description is still pretty relevant:
I don't really know what to explain about me! I am cheerful and I like meeting people. Your place gets a bit little when you grow up.
I love having time with myself like getting lost in a city with only some music, but I also love meeting my friends in front of a drink or watching a movie. Just normal stuff!
PHILOSOPHY
I think there's no written path to live like. Everyone can find their way. Ways which can for sure be very different one from another but all leading to success and happiness if you do what it fills you. Because of that I try to be the most open-minded and absorving I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm in CS because I obviously like to travel and I enjoy very much knowing people from the places I'm visiting, so you can scape from the typical routes. I think it makes trips far more atracting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Discovered CS in Poland with two very nice hosts
Couchsurfing all long when interrailing + later hosting some people from Poland, NZ, Germany, Mexico.. and always had nice time sharing and learning.
All that loooong time ago while 18yo-24. Then I basically spent my holidays either going back home or visiting friends or being visited by friends/acquiantances until now, 2024. So it's somehow like CS, but with a bit of previous personal knowledge. I find sharing expectations about time and silence/space important.
Let's see how this website it's keeping it's essence :)
Interests
My parents passed on their love for travelling as much as their passion for food. My day brights up with a good meal or a small treat. And although I cook in a simple way, I will speak for hours about food, cuisine and restaurants if I find someone like me.
Books. Politics. Art (I can't make art though). Hiking. Personal communication. History.

Music, Movies, and Books
I loved those movies : My life without me(Isabel Coixet), Babel and Life is beautiful. I love some Spanish-speaking directors: Coixet, Iciar Bollaín, González-Iñárritu and Fernando León de Aranoa.
I listen to many types of music, from classical to reggea. Yann Tiersen, Muse, Ben Harper, Eddie Vedder, Bebe....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping out of the boat, after a three hours dizzing travel in the middle of the Atlantic, to swim towards the most isolated and paradisiac island I've ever seen, in the coast of Equatorial Guinea. The feeling of freedom in front of that location after such trip was absolutely exceptional. Doing that with 15 friends singing and covering eachother from the water splashes and bumps...
Living in the Middle East, quite an experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably share about the places I know and love in Catalunya, Spain and Tenerife.
I used to discover Israel and the rest of Middle East (a bit) with newcomers like me and friends on visit. I am happy to discuss but mostly HEAR facts and long-built arguments about that complicated place that is Israel-Palestine and all the geopolitics that travers the region.
We know nothing so we are always learning. The more I grow the more I talk but at the same time the more confused about strong statements I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sincere interest in connection.
Cooking together or going out together for a variety of activities: sports, music, visiting the city and others.
Language learning tips :)
Spanish or Catalan practice.
laughs - my travel buddy is always the funny one :)
