Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Ana (it's a short one from Anastasia). I was born in Tula, which is a relatively small city in Russia and grew up there. Then I moved to Moscow for my bachelor's degree when I was 18, and I've been living here from that time. Moscow is really livable city. I appreciate this a lot and really enjoy the life here. I am a supporter of a physical activity and Moscow gives me this one. Many people are tired of the lifestyle, but it's fine for me now. People there are open-minded and warm-hearted, they always ready to help, although they seem to be cold.
I graduated from university this summer and now work as a designer.
I'm glad to tell many stories about Russian culture in the case you're guys interested in. I want to get to know new people as good as possible.
Last summer I was a volunteer in Spain, went from city to city there, from country to country around Europe. Volunteering is one of the best experience of my life! Also, I had a chance to travel last winter with CS. It was so unusual and I love it so much! My friend and I were hosted by many strangers from three countries. It's like you live one more life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard many great things about Couchsurfing before. And once I was determined to try this one. From that time I met a lot of amazing people I met people from all over the world and it's so worthwhile, guys :)
This is way to get additional experience from others and you know to get new friends, to mutual aid, to experience culture directly.
I try to get as many new things as possible, get to know as many people as possible, see as many places I want to go! As for me, I hope each trip here comes up with something different that will be kind of an unexpected and nice surprise for me. And it is from the experience :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I find an interesting creativity of Boris Pasternak, Vladimir Vysotsky, Jack London, also I really like go to a theatrical play. In Moscow, this is a very common case, so I watched "The Three Sisters" by Zechof, "The Three Comrades" by Erich Maria, "Wolves and sheep Remark" by Ostrovsky and so on. Also I've been going to a play which shows life of known artist activity Marc Chagall.
Art: In love with Soviet visual language. And keep an open mind with different pieces of art
Movies: I don't watch a lot but Woody Allen's works are attractive to me. Here are some of the liked by me works: "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Edward Scissorhands", "Frances Ha", "Yes Man", "The Truman Show" (Yes I like James Carrey), "The Green Mile", "Forrest Gump" (and Tom Hanks too). But there are many movies and many actors I like too
Music: I like listen to many kinds of music. It always depends on. When I meet a new man usually I discover something new. I like good old The Beatles. I like Depeche Mode, Twenty One Pilots, Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, Woodkid, Pink Floyd, Muse, Lana Del Rey, Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse, Drake. Sometimes I listen to the radio plays jazz. Anyway, it all depends on what mood I'm in.
