About Me
* **Sorry but I'm not interested in dateing, for me CS isn’t a Tinder. I use CS to search events, meet local people and culture.***
Hi, my name is Ana, I'm 29 years old. I'm from southern Brazil, the city is Curitiba, capital the state of Paraná. I was graduated in accounting but I work if barista because I love coffee! I'm traveling to Malta for studying English, when the course finish I want to travel around Europe knowing some countries of my dreams!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my past backpacking I used the hostel service a lot, because I always traveled with friends. I like hostels very much but now I want to meet local people, exchange experiences and go beyond tourism. I'm using couchsurfing for the first time and hope to have good experiences!
Interests
I started traveling when I was 24, I made my first backpack in Bolivia, Peru and Chile. I enjoy traveling, observing nature, chatting with locals, getting to know the culture and photographing! I like to know and taste the local food and seek good coffees with good baristas.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Brazilian popular music (MPB) artists like Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Elis Regina, Milton Nascimento and Clube da Esquina ... Besides MPB I like Jazz and Blues, Indie and a little rock. I think I'm what you call 'eclectic' hehehe!
I like to watch documentaries, no specific theme ... I'm curious! For movies, I don't like shooting or fighting (but I love Fight Club) I like Tarantino and Guillermo del Toro movies. Also from brazilian movies I like O Alto da Compadecida, Bacurau, O filme da minha vida ... there are many good movies!
I love books about photography. Books that associate photography and anthropology as the book "About Photography" by writer Susan Sontag.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked in a audit company for six years, in 2017 I moved city at the company's request but nine months later I was fired. Not knowing much about what to do I decided to study coffee, took a barista course and started working in a coffee shop called Kombi and Coffee. The most amazing thing I did was change my profession and be happy!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to hear what the other has to say! I like it when people talk enthusiastically about something they like ... like food, drink, travel, family history, profession, culture where they live ... everything!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share about the culture of my country, about everything from each region after all, Brazil is huge! I like to talk about the typical food of each region, about the people and their colonization. I love to explain about coffee and its infinite variety of type, toas, brewing methods!
