ABOUT ME

I graduated from Kent State in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Conservation Biology and Climatology. I am currently serving in Togo for the Peace Corps as an Environmental Action and Food Security Volunteer. I work more under the domain of Agroforestry/Reforestation in the most deforested region of Togo.

Prior to now I have worked with a combination of the National Park Service, local seed bank, local organic farmers and various other plant related endeavors. Aside from botany, I thoroughly enjoy good beers(preference of Belgians), following natural disasters, taking on baking challenges, hiking wherever the world takes me and engaging in conversation with complete strangers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hoping to share my little home in Barkoissi with others during my service here. I will be sure to share delightful local cuisine and beers (Tchakpa--millet beer) and probably geek out on plants a bit. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my trip out to Wyoming I stayed with 2 different households in South Dakota and Wyoming as well. It was such a stress-free, welcoming and lovely experience. I look forward surfing in the future again!
