ABOUT ME

I am a free-spirited, modern day gypsy who loves meeting new people and seeing new places! Since graduating college in May of 2010, my on-and-off adventures and work abroad have taken me to 40+ countries! I have lived and traveled through many places, and couchsurfing has always allowed me to encounter beautiful souls along the way.

I am on a mission to share my travels as a way to inspire and empower other young people to live life to the fullest, dream big and travel often! I want to encourage others to step outside of their comfort zone and to not be scared of living unconventionally!

I try to live life to the fullest and hope to inspire others to do the same! I am a go with the flow type of person who understands that life is precious and life is short! The world is full if beautiful places to see and people to meet and I am trying to take advantage of that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back when I was based in miami years ago, we hosted people nearly every day between couchsurfing and www.airbnb.com! I LOVED hosting/taking visitors out to experience miami nightlife the right way. I am sad to say that at the moment i cannot host, because I live on boats for my job, and so cannot offer space. I surf occasionally but not too much, but i still meet up frequently! any time that I am traveling through a new place, I always write on the message board to meet up with locals or other travelers! so message away!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couchsurfing is an amazing network of people! i am so glad to have met so many new awesome friends who i may not otherwise know! I live by the concept of good karma, paying it forward, helping others when you can, believing in the kindness of strangers! Of course I love cs!!

Interests

**UPDATE*** just so you know, my CS profile photos are pretty out of date! Most of these photos are from 5-9 years old. Although I still enjoy going out for a drink once in a while, these days I tend to me a lot more calm, and less into the party scene, as some of the pictures would lead you to think otherwise! I love being active, walking/hiking, doing things in nature, reading, writing, learning, and of course traveling! and also of course, meeting interesting people! Music- I grew up on classic rock and have a certain connection with the 60s/70s- I love a variety of music but mostly I like listening to people who play or sing with PASSION!!! Minimal/deep house; reggae; jazz; live music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Explored the ruins of Machu picchu, hot air ballooned over the crazy landscapes of capadoccia, trained kung fu in china, sailed on a 44' boat from sicily to sardinia, paraglided over the blue lagoon of olu Deniz, partied is the Spanish streets, off-roaded through salar de uyuni salt flats in Bolivia, road tripped the coast of Portugal, rode a horse through the Andes of cusco peru, got drenched by the waterfalls of iguazu argentina, danced in the desert rain of San Pedro de atacama Chile, got dazed and confused in Amsterdam, wined and dined in Paris , island hopped through Croatia, climbed a volcano in Indonesia, motorbiked through the winding roads of Italy, partied on the barges of Belgrade, soaked in the bathhouses of Budapest, pranced through the streets of Prague, danced to the beats of barcelona, admired the street art of Berlin and the classic art of the louvre, strolled the pink sand beaches of the Bahamas, hung out with the flamingos of aruba, sailed through the glowing water of Formentera, swam in the denotes of Mexico, hiked through the rice terraces of China!, AND MANY MORE AMAZING THINGS TO COME!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching: Have lots of travel experience and knowledge as far as how to do it on the cheap! I LOVE helping ppl plan their trips, and have a lot of tips for those interested in working abroad!
