Hi, everyone :)

I’m Anna from Germany, and since February 2026 I’m a fully qualified high school teacher in English and Physical Education 🧑‍🏫 - yeahiii!

Now that I’ve finished my studies and teacher training, I’m taking the opportunity to travel one more time before starting my job in Germany this September.

I love being in nature, which means hiking, exploring new places, and just getting a bit lost along the way 🌿
For me, travelling is about meeting people who are curious about the world, enjoy open conversations, and like to share stories, laughs, and good moments together.

I’m always excited to experience new cultures, try delicious food, and learn from the people I meet. I’d describe myself as open-minded, easygoing, and someone who truly enjoys the little things in life 😊.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's just a great way to meet new people and get in contact with so many different cultures. You learn so much about the world and its people if you just go out there, be open-minded and experience it for yourself :)

Interests

I really enjoy being outdoors and experiencing a country’s beauty and uniqueness firsthand. I’m genuinely interested in learning about different cultures, which is why I prefer to travel on my own and connect with new people along the way. I like to keep things simple and I don’t need much to have a great time. Whether it’s hiking, swimming, cycling, celebrating life, or just wandering through new streets and exploring, I’m happy 😊
I also believe that getting a little lost often leads to the most beautiful places and hidden gems.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music and if a song sounds good to me, I don’t really mind the genre. It’s the same with movies and books… except for horror movies ... they can definitely give me sleepless nights :o!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved to go skiing in Switzerland and diving in Thailand. I had an unforgettable time studying on Vancouver Island and experiencing the Canadian and American West coast in a campervan.
