About Me

A Brazilian girl that likes to think she’s seen quite a lot but still too little. My first experience travelling has changed profoundly my understanding of the world and defined my choice of studies afterwards. I lived in the Philippines for a year before finishing high school, then I went back home and studied international relations, worked for a while, moved to Scotland with a startup, studied my MA in Political Science in Greece, currently I’m in Germany finishing the second part of my double degree. I have been moving around for the last 11 years and if that taught me anything is that I want more of life, more than working in an office 9 to 6pm. I’m trying to absorb as much as possible along the way and meeting different people wherever I go is the best souvenir one can have.
For some reason I lost all the content from my account here on CS but I have hosted several people in Brazil since 2014 and stayed with different hosts around Europe. I promise I’m trustworthy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know new places through different perspectives and connect with people. I fear we, as humans, are losing this very natural skill and I’m trying not to

Music, Movies, and Books

I love MPB, reminds me of home. Way too many favourite movies...as for books: I like Hemingway, George Orwell and some good dystopian stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Talked about god and the world with Ban Ki-moon last year in Austria.

Teach, Learn, Share

Aside from a bit of my mother language, I think I can teach some Brazilian cuisine. It’s always a good way too make friends

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to exchange experiences about places I’ve been and lived. Sharing good playlists is also super nice and adds to the memories of your travels. I can cook and of course share some wine/beer
