About Me

I love to think of myself as a Barbie type of person "you can be whatever you want to be" as I have had many professions and hobbies over the years, currently, I'm a wife, a Player Manager in esports, a crafter and wedding planner :P

I love reading, watching movies, and going out. I love to travel and meet new people. I'm really not that good about saying things about myself in written but I sure love to talk and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I think there's no better way to know a new place but taking advice with the locals. I love traveling and staying in different places not just hotels, sure there are great things you cannot miss being a tourist but no one knows a place better than the person that lives there and you can know the real culture of the place. Also because I love meeting new people and I think that couchsurfing it's a great opportunity for that.

Interests

I love reading and watching TV and Movies. I guess this is one of the reasons I studied communication sciences with a minor in Media. I also love video games and have spent a great amount of time in WoW and others RPG's.
My greatest love ever is languages but unfortunately I'm only fluent in english and I try learning Italian for a semester but I hope to learn at least 4 languages before I'm 40.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like all kind of music and can listen almost anything depending on the situation but I love rock and alternative music. I can say my favorite are The Killers, Artic Monkeys, Panic at the Disco, Imagine Dragons, Walk the Moon and some mexican bands like DLD, etc. My guilty pleasure for sure is reggeaton.
Movies: This is a difficult department since I'm a huge cinephile but my favorite would be Moonrise Kingdom, Midnight in Paris, The Beauty and the Beast, StarWars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. I think my genres would be adventure, science fiction and comedy. I just don't watch horror ghost movies, like never haha.
Books: My genres would be not really different from what I like in movies I love science fiction, adventure and romance :). Fav books? Harry Potter and One Day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have slept in a cementery a whole night, haha maybe is not that amazing but for me was pretty awesome haha. Actually I think one of the most amazing thing I've ever done was travel for my own for three months and a half, a journey of learning and self discovery and adventure.
I would also list getting married in the middle of the woods , small wedding an all but it was definitely a crazy thing that made another dream come true. And last but not least I would say teaching, I never study to be a teacher an had to control 36 kids form 10 years haha and teach them English so for me it was amazing to see them talking in English at the end of the year and see how they take into account what you tell them :D

Teach, Learn, Share

My native language is Spanish so I think I could teach it or at least I will try my best, if you want to learn bad words and albures (double meaning sentences) I happen to know many haha since I'm always hanging around with boys more than with girls I have heard and learned them hahaha.
I love to cook and I know how to prepare some Mexican recipes, just don't expect mole because that thing is hard as hell to prepare and not a common dish in my life.
I'm not a great dancer but I love to dance and have fun doing it, I know the basics to some latin styles like cumbia, norteña, duranguense and banda and I'll be more than happy to teach them and practice as long as you don't expect a pro.
I want to learn anything someone can teach me :) I love learning different things, words, recipes, etc.
