About Me

I'm a 26 year-old girl who loves travelling over any other thing. Law graduate about to start a Masters Program in Immigration Management in Barcelona. Migration enthusiast, I've always been intrigued by the reasons why humans have ever moved around the Globe looking for a better life.

Nomadic soul, vegetarian foodie, yogi, running amateur and overall itchy feet always in the search of new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For someone who considers herself courageous enough to grab a bag and explore the world on her own, CS offers the greatest challenge and at the same time the most rewarding thing I can think on about traveling. Staying at people's houses gives you an insight of the country's culture while it provides the opportunity to meet like-wise people and everlasting friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I believe I have a pretty eclectic taste in music. Some of my favourites are: Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Calle 13, Arctic Monkeys, Leonard Cohen, Portishead, Amy Winehouse, Chavela Vargas, Bon Iver, Nick Murphy, Foals, Perotá Chingò, Kings of Convenience and Chet Baker.

As for movies, I adore independent cinema, especially French and Argentinian. What I can't get enough of: The secret in their eyes, Volver, The lives of others, Ne le dis a personne, Little Miss Sushine, Memento and, of course, The parent Trap (yup).

Books: anything that falls into my hands. My all-time favourite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Others are Noam Chomsky, José Saramago, Pablo Neruda, Elvira Sastre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the easy answer would be saying solo-bacpacking India on my own last August, but I'm going to go for volunteering at helping stray dogs find a home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach or exchange Spanish/Catalan/English lessons, improvise a yoga session anywhere, cook vegetarian food, play tour guide, sing if there's a guitar (I'm usually the one asking for it), take dogs for a walk (I'll probably be asking for it as well) and engage in any conversational topic- they say I can listen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Passion for life and the world we live in through good conversation and a big smile.
