About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for the path that can fit both of us at the same time!!

ABOUT US

I am Anaëlle, got my universitary degree in economy and management and now working for a consultant company; sometime active, sometime lazy girl but Gimmy is really always an outgoing person who moves me everyday! He is a working as a strategic buyer for a mechanical multinational company.
We are travel addicted! Apart from this big fact, which us couchsurfer have all in common, we are friendly people, respectful, curious, open minded, environmental friendly and global setted ;)

In Padova we live in the historical centre, at just some steps from a local aperitivo or a relaxed dinner in an old osteria.
With our guests we also like to cook at home (if you are vegetarian please say so) sharing a good bottle of wine, always having nice discussions.
We like both going out and see friends and stay at home to relax and read with a cup of tea, watch a movie or some french tv!

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.
Learn something everyday, go out from my comfort zone.
Think globally, act locally.
Open your eyes big and fill it with beautiful things!
"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.” ― Christopher McCandles

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Between 2008 and 2012 we had the time and opportunity to travel a lot, especially in Asia and Oceania, as backpackers! Those years we grown up a lot, as travelling excited and motivate us, we love to see, share, discover, taste and be connected with the world! Travel helped us as well to see in perpective the places we are from and even appreciate it more, to consider the small things and really know what for us is important and the kind of people we like to have around! After those lucky years... reality has caught up with us (especially Gimmy's work), so our travels are concentrated in summer and winter holidays. During the year we still move around, though not very far and not for a long time.
We chose to enter the couchsurfer community to look for the same travel feeling by hosting people in our place, so we can travel through them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We love to host! So far all our guests have been great and allowed us to travel through them!
It was always a pleasant experience, and is great to show and see our city through the eyes of people who come to Padova for the first time!

NOTES:
We love couchsurfing as, as told, it allows us to travel through people. If you are among those kind of extraordinary people who love to share their culture, and be inspired from local people you are the kind of host we look for!
We really appreciate if you tell us what you do in your life (when not travelling of course), like your job or occupation, or what passionate you, as we love to learn new things!

If you are just looking for a last minute free hotel, not interested in culture, or coming in Padova just to meet somebody else, or just coming hear to sleep after a concert, well, don't bother to send us a request as the answer will be negative.
One more thing, from Padova Venice is just few 20 miles away, so the most beautiful city in the world is at easy reach. Though, if you just write us "I want to discover Venice and I wrote you as you look nice people" it means that you are not keen to visit Padova (so this is the free hotel seeking case) or you don't even bother to read our profile, of course the answer will be negative, we're sorry.

P.S.
If you want to stay with us, please write a COUCHREQEST.
Let us know who you are, interest and why you want to stay with us ;)
If you have 0 references, 1 picture and no description, I'm sorry but 0% chances for an answer.
