Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
What a great way to make this world and it's people better, as travel opens minds and sharing cultures destroys barriers and stigma.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have been an unofficial couchsurfer/hoster for 9 years, happy to finally make it official. Lived/worked/studied in Canada, Ecuador, China, Australia, Ghana, Spain, Denmark, France, Uganda and South Sudan where I've hosted family and friends. My favourite surfing story is the mass peace corps volunteer get togethers in ghana where 30+ volunteers would visit a friends village to help/support a colleague's project and we would end up sleeping on tables or on the floor with the goats.
