Overview
About Me
I'm an Irish student studying in the Netherlands, currently in South Korea on a scholarship to study Korean Languages and Culture in Busan. I'm coming to the end of my stay here and would love to stay a couple days in Seoul before I fly out of there on the 15th of August.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've really been loving learning about Korean culture, especially the food, and I think that a few days couchsurfing would really enhance my stay here and be a lovely way to cap it off immersed in the culture.
Interests
I major in music and film and i'm always interested in learning more about other cultures music and film. I love to read and read about 3 books a week so am always up for some conversations on literature, non-fiction, critical theory... whatever!

Music, Movies, and Books
I hate this question so I'll just answer with what I've been into most recently:
Music: Discovering K-Pop, The Pop Group, The Raincoats, Xiu Xiu's cover of Only Girl in the World, Drag Queen music.
Movies: Haven't watched many as I've been travelling, just a lot of Rupaul's Drag Race.
Books: Autumn of the Patriarch by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, also his Collected Stories, Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto, A Personal Matter by Kenzaburo Oe, Audition by Ryu Murakami, Kitchen Confidential and Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've worked as a chef in a previous life so I can share some cooking skills, and teach knife work. I love to draw and paint so I also can share that.
