I'm a back-end Java programmer from the Frankfurt area. I fluently speak English and German and native Russian. I live in Germany last 4 years, study Computer Science (almost finished). I lived 6 years in St.Petersburg, Russia and traveled in many cities in Europe and also spent 2 winters in South-East Asia. One day I will return to a freelance world and will travel around the world.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like to experience the place I visit as a local, not a mere tourist. I often travel to the concerts of my favorite rock-band and sometimes just for fun to discover new places and meet interesting people. In new cities, I like to discover unusual places, not just sights, but something non-touristic and watch the locals life. If I stay for a long time I like to live similar life with the locals. I also like to discover great street-arts and visit zoos in each city.

I earlier stayed in hostels, but now I'd like to try something new because that's how I can get more experience, share my own and meet really lots of people. That's why I have a few references now, but very soon I will get more of them.

兴趣

I like to travel and I love to visit live shows of my favorite rock band because of the amazing atmosphere and unforgettable memories, so together these 2 things make the trips just perfect.

I like to grab a beer with people and talk about whatsoever. Or make a bicycle ride in the town or in the country. Or just walk. I like to take photos of interesting things, like unusual signs, funny autos, street animals, and so on.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like many American/Canadian punk-rock/metal bands, but not only. I also like a French singer Zaz, old-fashioned music like Johnny Cash, June Carter, and Jerry Lee Lewis, and also a German punk-rock band with nice name Killerpilze (Killer mushrooms) :) I have also nothing against discovering new music genres, e.g. I'm interested in Latin music, Salsa, and jazz.

My favorite book is Pride & Prejudice, and the movie for that book, from the year 2005.

I learned German from scratch to fluent in exactly 12 months working full-time. I managed the study in a foreign language.

It's hard to say what I can teach, I just can share everything that I know - my professional knowledge, experience, languages, etc. And I DO like to learn new things, if something is not listed in my interests, it doesn't mean that I don't like it :)
