Overview
About Me
Open-minded, friendly and geeky introvert.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel by myself I like to connect with the locals to get to know the area from their perspective and learn about their culture and experiences.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Classical (various composers across most periods)
Jazz & blues
Funk
Progressive rock
Neo-psychedelic
Movies:
I don’t watch regularly but I generally like off stream, non-commercial and thought provoking films. Classic rom coms are fun too.
Books:
Unless they’re related to work or study, I leave most books unfinished after a couple of pages because I get bored. Open for ways to become inspired.
The books I’ve (actually) read and loved cover to cover were The Sandcastle Girls by Chris Bohjalian and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Becoming a vegan
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d like to practise my German and French. Happy to speak / help you practise Finnish, Russian or English.
I also play the flute, sing and play a little piano. Would be great to play together. Happy to also teach beginner level flute, piano and / or music theory (have taught children before so if you’re child minded I’m sure we can make it work :)).
I like talking about different cultures, experiences, spirituality, meditation, mental health, relationships, nutrition and veganism, among other things.
