About Me
Hi!
I'm Anais, I'm 31 years old. I can't offer to host anyone at the moment as I as I am staying momentarily at my parents. I am a freelance science writer, I popularize research mostly for scientific institutions. I love what I do because it gives me the chance to ask a lot of questions to very interesting and smart people who are passionate about what they do. It brings me a lot of new knowledge as well which is great because learning is the only thing I'll never be tired of doing.
I love soccer, I used to play but now I mostly watch and get too amped behind my tv or at the stadium.
I like to talk to my cat, especially when I need to brainstorm on the articles I'm writing and he seems to enjoy it, but he doesn't look like he is getting smarter because of it...

Music, Movies, and Books
Books : A brave new world - Huxley / anything Agatha Christie wrote and most recently The power - Alderman
Movies : Sci-Fi is my favorite genre, but I watch anything mostly to broaden my horizon. I like watching a movie for entertainment, but I also like very cerebral plots when the viewer as to be active to really understand the content.
Music: mostly rock, pop-rock, anything with real instruments. It's more about the music for me than the lyrics or the singer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first solo skydive after only 1/2 day of training! I quickly lost radio contact with the ground and had to find a landing spot on my own. 12 years later, it just sounds surreal that it happened to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have no idea what I could teach, French maybe? Mostly, the more I learn, the more I realize what I don't know and it's terrifying because it kinda emphasize my impostor syndrome... Something I do find important though is helping people find informarions that is not misinformation by enhancing critical thinking and learn some reflexes on how to consume the news we read or see on the internet which is a big and growing problem that is agravating division, violence and hate.
I can share my passion for soccer haha and talk about my cat for a very long time, so maybe don't start me on that one.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to help around the house. I also love to learn new things, to debate and get new perspectives on anything. So the best thing I can bring is conversation if you are curious about the world that surrounds you like I am.
Go for a walk or a hike, anything outdoorsy!
