About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be inspired! I want to meet people, see places, and eat food (most important, obviously) that MOVES me!
ABOUT ME
My name is Anais, and my icebreaker of choice is explaining to people how to correctly pronounce my name! I'm a college student and I work full time waitressing and bartending in Boston, Massachusetts. I laugh pretty frequently, and i get laughed AT even more frequently...but it's all good! I love life, and i am all about making friends, loving people, and possibly being insightful and clever every once in a great while. And food. All about that too :)
PHILOSOPHY
Well, Sylvia Plath pretty much sums up my view on life...she has such a knack for saying what i can't articulate quite as well. So i'll leave this one to her :)
"I love people. Everybody. I love them, I think, as a stamp collector loves his collection. Every story, every incident, every bit of conversation is raw material for me. My love's not impersonal yet not wholly subjective either. I would like to be everyone, a cripple, a dying man, a whore, and then come back to write about my thoughts, my emotions, as that person. But I am not omniscient. I have to live my life, and it is the only one I'll ever have. And you cannot regard your own life with objective curiosity all the time. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live the loves I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life."
- Sylvia Plath
