Hi, I'm Anaïs,

I'm 28 years old and live in Brittany in France. I was born and raised near the ocean, and absolutely love it.
When I was 18 I traveled to Thailand and Indonesia to learn diving and freediving. I wanted to become a diving instructor but gave up after realizing I wanted to keep it as a hobby more than make it a full-time job. It was still one of the best times of my life and I met a lot of amazing friends along the road.

Then I worked as a bookseller for three years, literature being also one of my passions. I always have tons of books I want to read. I'm also addicted to buying them and love visiting bookstores where I travel.

Now I work as a photographer, again another passion of mine. I'm very curious of others, which might be one of the reasons I do this job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new on Couchsurfing but love the idea of meeting people while traveling, and share genuine moments rather than just go to a hotel.
I love speaking english or teach some french to those who are willing to learn. I can cook, I love music, and I love hearing about people's stories and lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Six years ago we went to Mongolia with my mother, who I love to travel with.
On the day of my 22nd birthday, we got to do horse riding around the lake Kovsgol in the north of the country. Then we spent the coldest night in a rudimentary yurt but it was so worth it. It was the first time I spent my birthday outside of my hometown, and one I will remember forever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice conversation with a meal and a cup of tea, learning about each other and sharing anecdotes while watching sunset : my idea of a perfect evening.
