Anaïs is 33 and is a nurse, and Alex is 39 and is a waiter in his own restaurant.
4 years ago, we both quit our job to travel for 6 months and it was an amazing experience! Being back in Nice, we have to go back to work and don't have so much time to travel, but we still manage to go on shorter trips. We love our apartment and we'd be happy to share it with you as we always enjoy meeting people from all over the world!
We're smiling and open minded, and nature lovers (even if we live in town...).
Our main goals in life are to discover the world, meet new people, learn new langages, eat worldwide food and drink worlwide beers!!
If we don't work, we can show you Nice or places around and we can tell you where to go, what to see, where to eat and where to party :)

J'ai (Anaïs) 33 ans et je suis infirmière, Alex a 39 ans et a ouvert un restaurant, dans lequel il est serveur.
Il y a quatre ans, on a quitté nos boulots pour partir en voyage pendant 6 mois. Nouvelle-Zélande, Nouvelle-Calédonie, Vietnam, Thaïlande, Cambodge... ça a été une expérience extraordinaire!!
En attendant le prochain grand départ, on profite de notre ville au quotidien, et on voyage dès que possible pour de plus courtes durées.
Souriants et ouverts d'esprit, on a très envie de rencontrer des gens partout dans le monde!
On aime vivre simplement et on sait s'adapter à la vie des personnes chez qui on est et à l'endroit où on est, c'est comme ça qu'on découvre le plus!
On aime parler, écouter, danser, boire une bonne bière, manger, lire, marcher en ville et dans la nature...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Je suis inscrite sur Couchsurfing depuis 6 ans et je n'ai eu que de bonnes expériences. Nous avons hébergé plusieurs voyageurs et avons été accueillis chez des personnes incroyablement généreuses pendant notre voyage.
Certaines rencontres ont été vraiment très importantes pour moi, et certains des Couchsurfeurs que j'ai rencontré sont maintenant des amis.
Partager et échanger est essentiel pour moi, alors je ne pense pas arrêter le CouchSurfing un jour!

We've been hosting for 6 years, trying to make guests feel like home :) We enjoyed all our guests. Meeting new persons is always a rewarding experience. They all had something to teach us and some of them became good friends.
Our surfing experiences in New-Zealand and New-Caledonia have been amazing and full of surprises :D
We're sure we'll keep on meeting a lot of interesting persons!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Passer 2 semaines au Burkina Faso pendant mes études, et y retourner 10 ans plus tard!
Passer 2 mois en Egypte pour y travailler en 2011, juste après la Révolution. Marcher dans les rues en étant presque la seule européenne dans la ville, et voir les Grandes Pyramides sans touristes autour! C'était magique, j'ai eu l'impression de voyager dans le temps!
Voir les chutes du Niagara était incroyable aussi! Un rêve d'enfant!
Voyager pendant 6 mois et voir pleeeiiiiin de magnifiques endroits et rencontrer pleeeeeeiiiiiinn de magnifiques personnes.

Spending 2 weeks in Burkina Faso when I was a student, and going back 10 years later.
Spending 2 months in Egypt for work in 2011, just after the Revolution. Walking in the streets, being almost the only European person there, and seeing the Great Pyramids with no tourists around was magic, I felt like I travelled through time!
Seeing Niagara Falls was also amazing as it was a life long dream to go there.
Travelling together for six months and visiting soooo many beautiful places and meeting sooo many beautiful people :)

Teach, Learn, Share

J'aimerai pouvoir parler toutes les langues du monde... comme ce n'est pas possible, j'en ai choisi quelques-unes... Je veux pratiquer mon anglais autant que possible, ré-apprendre l'espagnol (j'ai oublié ce que j'ai appris à l'école), et j'aimerais apprendre le russe.
On a sûrement des choses à s'apprendre les uns aux autres!
On peut cuisiner niçois pour vous, et on adore apprendre les recettes de cuisine du monde entier.

Anaïs would like to be able to speak every language... as it's not possible, I choose some of them... I want to pratice my english as much as I can, learn spanish again (I almost forgot everything I learnt in school) and would like to learn russian...
We can teach you french, of course, Alex can teach you some cocktails recipes.
We can cook for you, or with you, and would love to learn some recipes from your country.
