About Me

Hi, I'm Ana from Rio, nice to meet you.
I'm fascinated by movies, music and art. And of course traveling.
In my travels, I like to go to museums and historical places, but I also like to go out for drinks and dancing.
And I love food, especially pizza.
I can say that I'm a friendly, easy-going and communicative person.

What do you need to know if you host me:
. I usually don't eat meat (but sometimes fish)
. I can cook Brazilian food
. I can teach you how to dance the samba
. I love pets but I'm allergic to cats
. And I sleep like a baby, so if you need to wake me up please really wake me up.

What do you need to know if I host you:
. I do home office, so I expect you to go out all day and came back just in the evening
. But you can come and go any time you like so if you want to stay in your bedroom or cook it's okay
. We can have dinner together if you want but you don't need to feel obligated to it
. You can do your laundry but please communicate to me before you do it
. Please don't offer food to the dog
. Pretty please don't bring people to my home, even if it's your best friend or the best person in the world
. And I don't except request too in advance or for more then 2-3 nights

Furthermore, "mornings are for breakfast and contemplation".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet new people.
Sure you can go to a hostel for that but nothing compares to stay at home cooking together and drinking wine.
Couchsurfing is also the best way to feel like a local because when you travel like a tourist you don't really know the city, you just go to the same touristic places like everybody else.
But if you travel like a local you can really feel the city and see all its colours.

Travelled alone with a backpack for 5 months in Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

We learn new things every day.
