ABOUT ME

Hello !
My name is Anaëlle. I grew up in Brittany, France. I am close to my family and friends, and I love the place I come from. I love to travel. I study sustainable developement and during the holidays, I lead teenagers groups abroad. It's a job but most of the time it's very funny, and it allows me to travel in many various ways. I keep fond memories of these experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is always interesting to discuss, to think, to share our ideas. I think that it is that way we will be able to make to world evolve and become better. Big changes start with little thinks, there is always something we can do !
Since I am pretty concerned about environmental issues and animal rights, I am trying to limit my consumption of meat and animal products. However, I am really flexible about that, I don't want to be close minded ! I am also curious and I like to try local products and to discuss :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I came back from my year in Japan... Now I live in Lille, North of France, with 4 roomates and 2 cats. During the university holidays, I am travelling or I am at my parent's house in Brittany, where we can host too :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to many places in Europe and Asia (especially Japan), and met incredible people. It was really, really amazing. I started to host now that I can ! You are welcome to my place if I am not travelling !

Interests

I love laughing, eating, travelling, and chatting for hours. I like to discuss social and environmental issues. During my trips, I like to take pictures of unusual things and beautiful landscapes (or things that I find beautiful or interesting, even if the other people find it weird). I also like watching TV shows eating chocolate. And petting my cats. I have a cat whose name is Georges and I love him, he is the best cat in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah ah, too many to list ! I like very much various types of books, music and movies, especially the kind that makes you feel a lot of emotions, that makes you dream.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one year in Japan and it was amazing. I really miss the Japanese people, the Japanese way of life and the beautiful nature (but France is nice too) !
A really crazy thing I did... maybe I souldn't tell you that, but I went in the middle of Shibuya crossroad in Tokyo and my friends took a picture of me naked in the crowd, from behind. It is a kind of tradition we have in my university, a concept called "the buttock's freedom". Anyway, we had a lot of fun and good memories !

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to meet curious people, who would be ok to discuss and to share their points of view.
If you are interested, I can guide you if you come to my place in France. I can also teach you how to cook vegetarian/vegan meals and cakes, or give you French, English, Spanish or Japanese lessons. We can talk and laugh together :)
