About Me

Wow! That's harder than I thought it would be!
Travelling and getting to know new people and new cultures is one of my biggest passions. I'm a photography enthusiast, a nature lover, an English teacher, a free-lance translator, a movie buff, and a talkative and curious person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I didn't have the opportunity to travel a lot when I was younger, the eminence of turning 30 was like an ultimatum to me. That's why I decided to take a sabbatical year (starting in 2016) to fulfill my dream of travelling the world.
My route is still in the making, but Asia and Europe are practically sure to happen. I'm doing this not just to do some sight-seeing, but to have a better understanding of other cultures.

*I'm not hosting anyone yet because I live with my parents and they are not comfortable with the concept of Couchsurfing. However, I'm planning on receiving people as soon as I get back from my sabbatical and find a place of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, specially indie and alternative rock. My favorite bands are The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Hives and The Killers. I also like pop music very much (still not over the Spice Girls break up).

I really like cinema (all types, really, I'm a movie buff!!!)! I can't even pick a favorite!

I read a lot (and still, a lot less than I'd like to) and I'm quite eclectic, but mainly stay in the horror-science fiction-fantasy area (my personal Bermuda Triangle).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to take a sabbatical. Yes, for me it was a brave thing to do. My family has a very traditional ideal of what adult life and success should be like, but what I wanted for myself never really fitted that mold. So I decided to quit my job, throw some clothes in a backpack and see the world while I still can. I'm not sure about how long it will take or where it will take me, all I want is to live this adventure while I still can.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Scotland, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
