About Me

I'm just a girl too confused about life and adult responsibilities, idealist and who hopes to travel as much as she can. And who doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up... It'd be a mix of a lot of things anyway :)

So I love cycling. Went to Denmark and back by bike and I loved every single bit of it!
And hiking and hitchhiking in this galaxy. And a lot of other stuff, maybe too many things actually. Neah, there's no such thing! And somehow they're all (or could be) connected to travelling...I wonder why?
It took me some time though to realise that I love travelling and learning from people I meet on the way. But I'm glad it happened ^^ Maybe this way I get to find the answers to life and the universe somewhere on the way...or at least to my life...or at least some answers...

And I like to think that I'm a traveller, not a tourist. I don't like seeing the most famous x places in a city. So take me to the places you like and have meaning to you :) I don't like travelling guides that show you the places you're supposed to see. I'd rather get lost in the small streets and see the hidden life in cities and villages.

So I also love learning languages! If I could I'd just learn all of them and speak to all the people I meet in their native language...maybe one day...

And books too. I guess that was my way of travelling when I was a kid. And now if I could I'd just carry a bookshelf in by backpack...

And aikido. That's a dance I can do. Just not so pleasant for the other person, but still graceful. I love dancing too, but I'm not so good. I'd love to learn more though, please teach me if you can!

And I don't like lists and agendas and making plans. No matter how many I make, I still forget some stuff, or forget the lists. And my mind is a mess anyway, so lists wouldn't help.

Forgot about origami! I always have paper with me, so you might get a crane or a star or a more complicated star or an even more complicated star! But I don't know how to make a frog or a boat...please don't ask me to do that (if you have kids who want me to do that, let me know in advance so I can research a bit)

And I'm dreamy and idealist...and I don't think I want to change this...

That should do about me, I can share more in person :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because you can meet people and surf couches! And they can recommend you places to visit and things to see that are not in the travelling guides.
