ABOUT ME

i moved to the netherlands to do research in developmental biology in 2010. science is a selfish job, and it has been occupying most of my time. however everyday i found ways to keep a parallel life filled of cinema, photography (http://www.flickr.com/photos/anambernardo), art, meeting new people, exploring space and time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first couchsurfing experience happened one year ago in India. i traveled for 5 months and the experience couldn't have been better. met amazing people, with whom i am still in contact with.

Intereses

beside my work as a phd student, i am also coordinator of a short film festival in leiden (http://lisfe.nl/). I also work as a journalist (http://www.ante-cinema.com/author/abernardo/) to a portuguese website about cinema.
i like to spend time with my friends, specially in food, music and theater festivals. i am addicted to live music, specially jazz.

nothing better then an afternoon in a museum to make my weekends!
