ABOUT ME

I'm affectionate and i have a nice and easy-going character, except when i get up, until i have breakfast and a coffee ; )

PHILOSOPHY

I’m not looking for happiness in every moment of my life; i feel that it’s a little bit stupid go to work in the mornings or sew a sock being happy. It is more important to me to live routine with calm and welfare and leave happiness for those special moments with family and friends. Life brings good and bad experiences: it is better to face the bad ones with good mood and enjoy the good ones as much as you can.
Since long time ago, i have few doubts and concerns that can keep me awake if my family and friends are fine. I only worry about problems i can solve. Life is so valuable and short as to waste it with stupid things.
My experience has lead me to realise that the most important certainties in life, maybe the only ones, are those that come from feelings (not from reasoning), above all from feelings related to oneself and the others.
Work for living, not live for working. I don’t understand a kind of lifestyle in which people work, work and work in order to earn money and to do shopping (i love my work, i work for vocation, it satisfies and enriches me a lot, but i prefer to be on holidays as everybody does ;)

I feel that all people have the same dignity regardless of their personal conditions and circunstances, the thing that can change is the attitude with which we treat each other…

Interests

Cultural exchange, historical intercultural influences, the defense of human rights, books, essays, arabic, theatre, contemporary dance, going for a walk in cities and in the countryside, chating with friends, better with red wine, music, mapping, desert, sea, dancing, riding a horse, trekking, sports, adventure, of course traveling ...
Most of them are not interests, but needs.
But i really love to do is eating and sleeping.
Dislikes are also important: i don’t like going shopping (above all clothes and accessories), playing video games, sports on TV, anything on TV...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the cinema but i prefer the theatre. I love adaptations with modern set design of classic plays. Cinema: All kind of movies, except hollywood romantic comedies and action-packed movies.
Music: All music styles, from jazZ (above all jazz fused with other styles, such as latins or bossa nova), commercial ones such as pop or rock also..., to traditional music from different countries, such as “flamenco” which i really love. I also like some very bad songs because they have come with me since i was a child : )
Literature: Classic and contemporary narrative, essays, latinoamerican boom, historical novels. There are classics that touch the soul, such as “La Celestina” or “El Quijote”.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many for me but maybe the most interesting experience for you is that i could go on 1st january 2008 to the gala party of the 50th aniversary of cuban’s revolution at the Garcia Lorca Theatre, and there i could live something incredible: i had the opportunity to meet one of my favourites nobel literature prize: Gabriel García Márquez, and thank him for so many good moments of reading. It was a very special moment for me because i could find, in this special context, a nobel prize, but and old, modest and close person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you to learn spanish, show you my city and other places in spain. I can talk to you about autistic people or with other disorders.
I want to improve my arabic; english and french too.
Besides sharing interests, it would be nice to catch some from the others.
