About Me

My life could be basically resumed by:
Slovenia --> Paris --> Japan --> London --> Paris --> London.

I like listening to people and their stories.

My mind rebels at stagnation. I spend lots of my time just studying and reading looking for beauty in different forms.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet fellow couch surfers and talk about their experiences. I really enjoy listening to people, everybody has something amazing to share. :)

I still get way too many fishy/weird/inappropriate messages from random guys, so for the sake of safety and everyone's happiness, let me make just one thing clear.

Couch surfing is NOT a dating site. I want to surf your couch and talk to you about everything and nothing, but not indulge in any "other" activities. If you want to meet up, don't write a message full of double entendres, it makes me feel uncomfortable af. I also don't accept requests from men with zero references and/or incomplete profile as a matter of principle.
(Having said all of this, I can go back to my usual kind me. ^^)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Firstly happened in August 2010 and was utterly cool; in only a few hours, I've shared a meal, had my first moped trip in life and found out lots of interesting stuff about Sweden and its people. Thanks, Erik!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite classical composers are Wagner, Brahms, Stravinsky, Satie, Mozart, Debussy, Puccini and Verdi just to mention a few. Lately I've been much into jazz, otherwise I like alternative rock, heavy metal and commercial pop music. (yes, I am a Taylor Swift fan, shame on me!)
Spending 2 weeks in Korea resulted in me being more appreciative towards Korean pop music, especially for karaoke. :D

It'd be impossible to mention all the movies that moved and impressed me in one way or another. The only DVD I own is Wes Anderson's The Moonrise Kingdoom.

Regardless of being an avid reader, I don't have enough time to read during the school year. My favourite book of all times are Russian classics such as War and Peace, Anna Karenina and basically all I've read by Murakami Haruki. And poetry. Loads of poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran a marathon when I was in high school and this spring I will try to break another running record as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is really hard to limit the things I want to learn, because I love to learn and Iam interested in everything as long as the explanation arouses my curiosity . But if I had to choose, I would say my main priorities are languages (Icelandic, anyone?), cooking and arts.
(But pretty much everything else can be interesting if well explained. Apart from playing solitaire on computer. That's really not my cup of tea.)

And I really wish to see aurora borealis and whales.
