I'll start with a bit about myself then! I'm Anand and that's an Indian name, it's Indian because India is geographically in the middle of Japan and the Netherlands, where my parents are from.

I've been brought up in a forest in the south of the Netherlands, not like forest forest but just forest for dutch standards but nature for me is the driving force. Although it is, for some months now I moved to Amsterdam for studies.

I decided to begin with Anthropology next year because people are the most interesting stuff there is. People fascinate me and that connects me with traveling strongly (and couchsurfing now ;))
