I find hotels too impersonal. Hostels are better, but still impersonal. I am hoping to actually make friends and find real connection with people through Couchsurfing.

I have varied taste.
Some of my favourite performers are The Beatles, Joy Division, Toto Bissainthe, Fela Kuti, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Philip Glass, but I am open to any and all music.
Some of my fave movies are Amelie, Napolean Dynamite, Lagaan, Koyaanisqatsi, Annie Hall, Rashomon, and films by Chaplin and Jacques Tati.
Some of my fave books are the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, A Fine Balance, Swami and Friends, A Clockwork Orange, biographies, plays, and poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked for a year and a half on a really small budget from Indonesia to India and it was one of the best things I have ever done in my life, for teaching me to let go and be in the moment, listen to my intuition, and be open to possibilities.
