Traveling late March for my almost 12 year old son's spring break. Been so over winter in MN. SAVE US! I think the way I was raised (By a Father who was a Yogi back in the 60's, and a Mother who was a healer) and now in turn how I'm raising my son - says what is important to know.

I'm teaching him to be a peaceful warrior. Be self sufficient, kind, respectful, and understanding. To stand up for his beliefs, his self respect, and others. Be inclusive, love all, exclude none, see people as spirit needing to be supported, not degraded. Now comes the discussions around kindness, consideration and consent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travel calls i prefer to see the world from a friends perspective rather than a tour company or hotel concierge.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depends on my mood, but I was recently really moved by Bohemian Rhapsody. Been watching Star Trek Discovery lately, and when I'm not self teaching by reading articles or tutorials about video, social media, etc, I tend to read books on self awareness and communication books. The 10th insight, the 4 agreements, Ishmael.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burningman x 3, lived in Burkina Faso for 6 months - learned hand drumming, lived in New York for 5 years, gone on tour w bands, was a lead singer in a band, done stand up comedy, started my own business (presently), commercial videographer, completed 7 x half Ironman's, 1 x Full Ironman, 7 + Marathons, Scuba diving.
