About Me

Hello, fellow travelers and wanderlust enthusiasts! I'm Ananth Parimi (Andy), originally from India and lived in the US and Canada for 23 years and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Couchsurfing community. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I believe that the best way to experience a new place is through the eyes of locals. I'm excited to explore new destinations as a guest. I have been an IT Project Manager for a long time and finally decided to move away from the US corporate world and start living my life. I'm presently unemployed and I'm traveling.

I have a wide range of interests, and I love meeting people from diverse backgrounds. Some of the things I enjoy include:

- I love to explore the outdoors, whether it's hiking in the mountains, driving along scenic trails, or simply taking a leisurely walk in a beautiful park, I love being in nature.

- Cooking is my passion so I can offer my vegetarian cooking skills wherever I get to stay.

- I'm a certified scuba diver so I love to explore the beautiful oceans as well.

- I'm a culture buff, so I always seek out local historical sites, and cultural events to gain a deeper understanding of the places I visit.

- Food is a universal language, and I enjoy trying new vegetarian dishes wherever I go. I'm always on the lookout for the best local eateries and street food stalls.

- I love to share my life experiences, insights and stories with interested people. Whether you're looking for a travel buddy, local recommendations, or just a friendly chat over a cup of coffee, I'm here to share stories and make your stay memorable.

- I'm a vegetarian, non-smoker, non-drinker (alcohol), love dogs.

- I do yoga daily for the last 12 years so I can teach some of it for free
