I want to travel and know places. To dwell in different cultures, different weathers, different ways of seeing the world. And I want to photograph. A lot.

ABOUT ME

Outgoing person, but I also love my own space and time. My hobby is photography, for around 10 years now. I love to speak with people and to know them, specially when their realities are so different from my own. I am open minded, and I do not tolerate narrow minded people.
I do not smoke or drink alcohol. And I expect you to respect that. I prefer to spend money in more substantial things :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can show you around Faro, Olhao and a little bit more of the portuguese culture. Besides the beaches, the Algarve has more to show. Also has mountains, nature and lots of different people to know!
I don't like to go to clubs or discos. I prefer places to have a nice chat and listen to good music.

At the moment I am reading "The Century" trilogy, by Ken Follett.

Paul Auster, P. Theroux (love his travel books), Fernando Namora, Pessoa, Thomas Mann, Gunter Grass, Steinbeck, Dostoyevsky (depending on the mood, sometimes he is a little bit depressive), Saramago, José Cardoso Pires, etcetera.. I really love to read.

Indie movies, not horror movies. Movies that teach something. Movies with content. Movies that can make you drop a tear. Movies with good photography, with good scenarios, with good actings. Movies with history, with story. The Grand Budapest Hotel. Walter Mitty. The Dreamers. The Long Wave. The Last Emperor. Aliens. Forrest Gump (actually, almost all the movies with Tom Hanks). The Big Fish. Edward Scissorhands.

Music, I hear all of it.. Except electronic and rave. I love to discover new musics, from far away places or just around the corner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling alone, in my car, to North of Portugal, during six hours.. watching the stars under the rain.. surviving.. some simple things, I guess...
