I had the really good fortune of growing up in a family that really loved to travel and go new places. Therefore, as I grew up I had not only the opportunity but also the pleasure of developing a hobby that has defined me and will continue to do so. I am passionate about travelling and seeing the world through someone else's eyes.

Right know my interest are to get my Ph.D and achieve my academic goals in order to feel like a accomplished person that belongs and contributes to our evergrowing society. Somehow juggle that with keeping travelling the world to not forget the freshness and the simplicity of being alive.

My favorite movie I think would be Jurassic Park. But not the second one because that one sucks. Among other favorites is El secreto de sus ojos and Y tu mamá también.

The music I listen to is very varied and eclectic. Goes from popsy sugary Katy Perry to Calle 13 singing about Latinamerica.

Did a two day trek through the panamenian jungle (not quite sure how I survived that one) and a hike in a volcano just before it erupted a few hours after we came down.
