I am thirtysomething, middle child of Spanish immigrants and have as long as I can remember enjoyed getting to know(new) people, foreign languages and cultures. I love music, I enjoy reading and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Heavy music such as Machine Head, Heaven shall burn, Hatebreed etc., lovely music such as Hellsongs, Angus and Julia Stone, Nora Jones and others. My favourite movie - that's a tough one - is probably "The Fountain", with Hugh Jackman. As for books, I love Harry Potter and of course "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin. My favourite nook so far is probably "Les jeux sont faits" by Sartre. There are plenty more, but this will be a great topic to talk about with future hosts and guests :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have got the position as research assisstant at my alma mater, which had been one of my biggest wishes for years. I scare easily, so no dangerous business!
