About Me
To say a few words about me, I'm 29 years old and I live in Montreal with European origins (I'll let you guess 😉 I'm an easy-going, open-minded, sociable and calm person who loves to try new things, discover new places and make meaningful connections; for me, travelling is mostly about meeting people. That quote from the movie Into the wild (one of my favorite) "Happiness is only real when it's shared", well I really believe it.
I believe growth starts from within ourselves so I try to keep myself grounded and be living by my values.bI consider really important to treat others the way I like to be treated. When I dedicate myself to something, I give it my 100% and do my best. I try to get the most of everything and I consider that every experience offers a learning opportunity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm not so into travel "consumption", which means visiting every sightseeing, museums, etc. Sure, this is nice. But I prefer much better to stay longer in places I visited, really get to feel the vibe of the place and make meaningful connections with other travellers and/or locals, hear about their story and learn from it. For me, travelling is about meeting new people I would not get to meet normally, discovering different landscapes and cultures and above all, letting yourself be carried away by the opportunities.
I’m thrilled about the opportunity of cultural exchange that Couchsurfing has to offer and I want to take this chance to immerse myself in different cultures.
I love being outdoors and would love to go hiking, kitesurfing, biking, whatever you like and want to share. If you have kids or animals, I'm happy to meet them as well!

Other interests (a part from people :) : philosophy, sociology, social dance (Lindy Hop, blues, balboa, salsa, bachata, merengue), nature, cinema, bicycle, hiking, skiing, skating, camping, etc.
