About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Preparing for Germany/Switzerland!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 23 year old student studying at the University of Arizona. I plan to graduate in December 2011, and my first plan is to get out and see the world, meet cool people, learn more languages, and experience more cultures! I've lived nearly two whole years in Japan, one year as a high school student living with a host family, and my second year as a university student. I'm a nice girl and I like to have fun and be silly.
PHILOSOPHY
I firmly believe that one has to live one's life to the fullest and try every possibility. If there is an opportunity to experience something unusual or awesome, there's no reason to let that opportunity pass by. There's so much in this world to discover and learn, why not take advantage of the fact that you're alive, and live?
I also believe that there is more to life than school, job, marriage, and kids. A "travel the world" section should definitely be inserted into that list. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It is hard to pick just one thing. I feel like life is made up of these little moments that are all so amazing that it would be hard to narrow it down to just one. If I had to, it would have to be Alaska, which is the most beautiful and terrifyingly wild place I've ever seen. If you have the chance, go; it will take your breath away.
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing I've learned from my travels and exchanges is that above all, the most important thing is communication. It doesn't matter if your grammar is wrong, you mess up the vocabulary or your even just spitting out single-word sentences with lots of hand gestures, if you are able to reach understanding with another person, it's the great feeling in the world. We're all humans, and language should never be a barrier to a connection.
