When it comes to movies, I'm a big fan of independent films and foreign films. Some of my all-time favorites include "The Lives of Others", "The Secret in Their Eyes", "The Grand Budapest Hotel", and "The Shape of Water".
As for books, I enjoy reading non-fiction books, especially those that focus on history and science. Some of my favorite books include "The Guns of August" by Barbara Tuchman, "The Selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins, "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham and "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu.
I also enjoy reading fiction books, and my favorite authors are George Orwell, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez
In general I have a diverse taste and I am always open to explore new things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done while traveling alone was hiking to the top of a mountain in a remote area. It was a challenging hike, but the views from the summit were absolutely breathtaking. I felt a sense of accomplishment and freedom being out in nature on my own. It was a great opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. Plus, the sense of independence and self-reliance that comes with traveling alone added a whole new level of excitement to the experience. It was definitely one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a traveler, I believe that the essence of couchsurfing is to share, learn and grow together. I am excited to meet you and to share my culture, language and way of living with you. I am also eager to learn from your experiences.
I would love to teach you some traditional dishes from my country, show you around the city, and share some tips for your travels.
In return, I am open to learn about your culture, language and any other skills or hobbies you would like to share with me.
Let's make this a memorable experience for both of us by sharing, learning and growing together. I am looking forward to hanging out and getting to know each other!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my culture and experiences with my host and also learn about theirs in return. I can offer to help out around the house or cook a meal for my host. I can also share information about my hometown or travel experiences and give tips for things to see and do in the area. I always bring a small gift or token of appreciation for my host as a way to say thank you for their hospitality.
