About Me

This is Anas! Jordanian/Palestinian. Currently doing a PhD in Transportation Engineering in Budapest-Hungary.
I have 29 interesting years of age.
Would love to meet new people, share stories, travel together, and down to pretty much any new experience!

One thing about me, I’m a really good listener, I mean a really really good listener, not in a freaky way though haha, so if you have a story to tell or something to share, you can count on me✌🏼

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm in LOVE with movies and my current favorite is "Whiplash". I also so much like hiking, and I make really good sandwiches 😎

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when I was in Colorado, the exchange program sponsor told me after 1.5 month of landing that I have to do the airport-chick-in again because the government couldn’t match my data with my documents.
I was placed in Idaho Springs (a town in the mountains, 150km away from the nearest airport) there was no public transportation and I still haven’t known no one yet in there. I asked a random person how can I get to the airport, he told me about Greyhound (Bus company), so I booked a ticket to the capital, Denver, and from Denver, I was supposed to take 2 buses to the airport.
The unexpected event happened in the first bus, once I stepped in I told the driver I wanna go to the Rocky Mountains Airport, but I guess the only airport she knew was Denver Airport at that time, so she took me to a different stop (note; I didn’t have access to internet then) :((
I was literally in middle of nowhere!
Looking around and I only see desert, desert in Colorado? “Saying to my self” I’m doomed haha.
I even couldn’t find anybody who knows where the airport is, I later figured out that it’s a small and local airport not like the one in Denver!
So I started walking, and walking, and walking! Hoping to find someone that i can ask for his/her help!
After around 2 hours of walking, I found a guy, I asked him, I got nothing too, but I excused him to use google maps on his phone,
Soooo, I found a waaay to go to the airport. Was I happy? Not really! since that way comes up with a high cost, which is getting back again to the same bus stop I had been in at the beginning ;((
So I walked back for another 2 hours, then I took 2 busses again.
Finally, I made it to the front door of the airport ;((

Guess what was the problem with my data? the one who checked me in in the airport typed down my birth date incorrectly in the system😅

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Arabic, things in Civil or Transportation Engineering (boring stuff I know, but if you’re interested then why not!). I can tell you how to get around in the city, and many useful tips.
I would share my weird stories, and I would love to hear back some of your weird stories too😬✌🏼
