Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not just free accommodation, I think it is a good way to meet new people, and to learn about different cultures (and subcultures). Travelling with locals is more interesting.

Interests

I love motorbikes and travelling. I did a degree and an MA in Criminology. I am interested in Psychology, Sociology, critical Criminology, migration, (anti) Speciesism and Nature. I am an activist for animal rights and I am vegan.
I'm also into mountain biking and climbing (although I'm not particularly good at either of them!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a soft spot for fast and simple music genres such as punk, rock, oi!, techno, but whatever really.
Tarantino and Kubrick´s films. Sociologycal stuff. B movies and "cine kinki" (spanish 80´s films).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have "stolen" tortoise's eggs from their nest to protect them till they hatch, and then release the babies into the ocean!
Learning to drive an old Harley with sidecar!
Living for a year in a 30-year-old van with two dogs and my partner.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share all I know (for example, vegan recipes, criminology theories, 80s punk bands...) and my perspective of the Mediterranean culture.
I have some gardening and animal care experience that if it's useful to anyone I am always happy to share it.
We could go for a ride/hike around Kent.
