ABOUT ME

I am originally from Pakistan. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Victoria and a masters degree in global management from Royal Roads University. I have worked as a director of finance and operations for the university of Victoria students society and a hospital administrator in Pakistan. I have skills in communication, organizing events, fundraising, Healthcare sector, research, leadership and a curiosity to learn everything.

PHILOSOPHY

Being born in a wealthy family, I have seen the reality of money. It's just an illusion. What lies behind big mansions, is depression, sleeping pills and suucides. True happiness lies in simpler things. I have solo backpacked to 40 countries and cycled 6,500 kms across Canada to raise money for Orphan and abused children. I want to make my existence useful and help ease a little suffering if I could and in the mean time lf I could also laugh a little that would be a bonus. If I were to sum up what motivates me to travel it would be: "perspective."

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on here to meet new interesting people from different parts of the world and hopefully make lasting friendships. Plus why not give somebody a place to sleep for exchange in some culture.
