About Me
Hi !
My name is Ana and I'm Spanish, but I live in Lyon, France. I'm from the south of Spain (Andalucía, for that ones how knows, you know, that place of Spain where it's too hot on summer, but that I recommend 100%), but when I finished my Biology Licence I moved to Lyon to do a Biology Master. Then I decided to stay here in France and I work as biologist in a laboratory here in Lyon.
I really love travelling and meet people from other countries because I think that sharing new experiences in another country with people who live there can be awesome and that let us get to know the real culture of a place. I think that travelling is not only visit a new place, but also the people, the culture, the food, etc.
My dream is to travel around the world being globetrotter and at the same time doing some biologist works and nature turism works, so I can mix my two passions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I've said before, I think that the best way of getting to know a new place is meeting people from there that could show not the normal places for turists but the real places. Also, I like meeting people from other countries so we will be able to keep the contact in the future!
Also I like travelling solo but when I do that I try to contact people either locals or travelers, so I can shared amazing travel experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening french music, not matter the music style, but always in french language, but of course I also listen to Spanish music and English music. I'm not a very good reader and I like films that are usually related to real histories like hiking or some that are related to nature.
I play the ukelele, so If you want to relax on the balcony and enjoy some music it will be cool !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done an Interrail two years ago with a friend for 30 days and it was absolutely outstanding because I've been with her 24/7 for 30 days so we have to deal our problems together and this experience was so good.
I've travelled alone twice and one of them was so amazing because it was in France and one of the destinations was Annecy (a lovely village near a lake in the french Alpes) where I met people from all over the world (Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Spain) and it was really cool. The experience of doing the lake tour by bike alone was good because in a trip that you do alone you start to think about life and get to know yourself by a different way, something that you can not do when you travel with a friend or in couple, I really recommend doing this at least once. The begining of this trip, walking in Paris from 23:30 to 5:00, seeing the real night in Paris, just amazing (a little bit scaring, xD).
I also went to Jordan with friends and all that I can say about this countrt is that it is awesome, I really recommend Jordan, from Petra to the Death Sea, and from Wadi Rum to Aqaba, it's a very worth travel.
Last year I did with some friends a three week Colombia trip, one of my friends is from Colombia. The Amazon rainforest, being biologist.... incredible. And all the other places we visit... I can recommend you places from Colombia !
Teach, Learn, Share
I really love turism so I can teach some intersting stories about my city and we can talk about destinations around the wordl ! I can teach you some biologist things, I love nature and I try to discover hiking places on the weekends.
I play ukelele so if you want to practise I will teach you !
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you stay here in Lyon I can offer you a comfortable sofa and good talks around a beer in a bar and we can visit the fantastic city of Lyon.
