I am an outdoor nature lover. I also love to cook large meals and spend time with family of friends. I also like to head downtown to see local bands and dance. My music taste is pretty varied, so I like to see a lot of different shows that come through Bellingham. I am 420 friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to help travelers out and meet people. I have always loved getting to chat with travelers about their stories of home and on the road. I love to show people my beautiful home and the many outdoor adventure opportunities it has to offer. I was fortunate to grow up in this area so I know a lot of beautiful places and I love to bring new people to them. Nature has always been a very important part of who I am and I want to share my love with as many people as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say that one of the most important and spiritual nights of my life was spent with my friends out in the woods. Two of my old roommates and I went out for a night walk to smoke at the beach. On the way, we chose to walk by moonlight and did not use flashlights. A barred owl began to hoot and I called back to it. The owl began to follow us down the trail, all of us hooting and calling to this majestic creature who returned every call with one of his own. The beach we visited had unusually rough waves that night and a special kind of bioluminescent jellyfish young filled with water with bright blue specks of light. We could catch them in our hands like fireflies and watch them get tumbled about in the water. The sight of them strewn across the wet beach almost reflected that of a clear night sky. That night bonded me with nature and my friends in a way that is difficult to describe, but I feel it has become an integral part of who I am.
