About Me

My family and I moved from our home in Zimbabwe when I was 15 years old and we began a new life in the United Kingdom. Last year, I left my job in U.K to begin my explorations of places yonder. I was recently living and working rurally in the Outback of Australia, and loving it too! I have been travelling around Australia doing various things, mainly seeking outdoor activities, drinking coffee and exploring graffiti in the big cities. I have just finished exploring a bit of the North Island, now based in Christchurch, NZ.
I’m a pretty active gal, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking and yoga. I’m an artist too and occasionally dabble in big wall art. I also love long nature walks, café culture, live music, a good pint of ale and good company. Road trips are one of my favourite things at the moment, especially driving in the Outback – wildlife!

I’m really enjoying the beautiful, visual and mountainous country that is New Zealand. I would like to travel further South and explore the alpine region :-p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, soaking up new cultures and ways of being, it's all very exciting! During my time in Australia, I learned that spending time with locals is the best way to truly experience new environments and it's the best way to understand different cultures. I've also had some of the best chats with people a long the way!
