Oh hi there! :D My name is Lily, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Belgium.
I work as an au pair in Prato and I have lived previously in London for 3 years.
I love languages and I speak French, Russian, Dutch and English. I'm in Italy to learn Italian of course :)
During my free time, I love to go to museums and the theatre, take guided walks to explore the city and anything cultural.
When staying in, I love to read, watch movies and TV-shows and study Italian. Finally, I like short city breaks and meeting new people and just talk, talk and talk about anything and everything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore Florence, Pisa and Prato together (and maybe other cities too!). And to meet new people and make friends abroad! PS: I’m sorry, but I’m not interested in dating or hookups. Only good, old-fashioned, platonic friendship :) I’m only here for a few months, so let’s both stay in the friend zone if you want to meet up :D PPS: I prefer to meet people close to my age and with whom I have things in common. My favourite genre is post-apocalyptic dystopia, but in general I watch lots of science fiction and fantasy. I also love action to relax and documentaries when I feel like learning something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing wild, the most exciting thing I’ve ever done was leaving my home to live in another country on my own.

(Although I did meet Daniel Radcliffe, which was pretty freaking AMAZING 🤩😍🥰)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can Teach you the languages I know and help you practice them, if you want a language partner. I want to Learn your knowledge of the city and everything it has to offer. And I can Share my time, I think I am a decent conversationalist (and a great listener).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not looking for a Host, since I have a place to stay in Prato. But if I ever visit another city for a weekend, I can share my enthusiasm and good mood with you and hopefully we’ll have a great time together!
