Very respectful, thoughtful and courteous. I am an abstract painter and plant lover through passion and for work I am a sleep coordinator and dental office manager. Also on weekends I work for a high end artisanal Tea dealer. I have traveled a fair amount in my lifetime and feel that the true way to experience a region is through friendship. Smiling is a hobby of mine and I do believe laughter is the best medicine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was hosting/traveling on Airbnb but found it a bit too cold and I would like to try to find a more helpful and friendly approach to both hosting/traveling. I’m learning that the first wave is the hardest to catch - And to start us off, we will be heading to Scandinavia next month and would like to meet the locals.

Interests

We enjoy filling our days with meaningful activities and interactions. It is unlikely we will be found in a bar or even having a drink unless it’s a special occasion. We do not judge others but, for the most part refrain from mind altering substances. Neither of us care much for following the herds and tend to migrate toward the unmarked paths, sometimes to our own detriment! We are family oriented and have a love for history and culture and hold a high regard and respect for people who share those value.

I’m a decent cook! James is a phenomenal classical and flamenco guitarist. We can bring high end tea or we would be happy to make or take our host out to dinner
