I believe in making the world around me a better place. I've been vegan for 3 years and currently trying to incorporate zero-waste movement into my lifestyle.

I'm passionate about cinema, and I love independent films. I can tell you about translating independents short films if you're into learning more about the threads the movie fabric is made of.

A dream of mine is starting a fair-trade vegan fashion brand for plus size women one day. If you love fashion, sewing and that kinda stuff, we'll sure find things to discuss.

Singing is one of the things I enjoy most. I also can sorta play the guitar, but my skills are scarce really. Feel free to ask me to sing and play Lana Del Rey songs though. They're easy but full of life and emotion.

...aaand there's so much more stuff I'm interested in, because life is truly fascinating, especially if you're lucky enough to get to know people from all walks of life, all kinds of backgrounds, to be able to see the world through their eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Indie music, alternative metal and hip-hop. My favourite band of all time is System of a Down, but it doesn't really define my preferences in music, if that makes sense. To sum up, I love all kinds of music, and we'll probably find something common in that respect.

Movies: my heart belongs to independent cinema and horror movies. My favourite movies are Filth, Dead Man, Mommy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment that marked my biggest to this day shift in self-discipline: I went for a jog in the pouring rain. It was so liberating and refreshing! And oh, did I mention I've had 3 brain concussions? Ask me about them first chance you get haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about zero-waste and vegan lifestyle. If you want to get crafty, I can help you with that, too! I love embroidery, sewing and weaving friendship bracelets.
I'd be more than happy to teach you some Russian! See, I love this language very much, and I want to share the beauty of it with other people. Though it's sad I'll never know what it's like to learn Russian as a second language or just come to contact with it without knowing it, through the eyes of a non-speaker. Languages shouldn't keep us apart, they have the power to bring us together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be more than willing to share my experience (feel free to ask about anything! Russians are very open-hearted and we even tend to overshare :D), help you learn Russian or improve your English, as well as help around the house while I'm visiting.

I'm not an excellent cook, but I love cooking for people. Unfortunately, Russian national cuisine is mostly not vegan-friendly, but if you really want to try something, I'll give you authentic recipes and walk you through the process. Or try to adapt some dishes so that I can cook them for you. Also, I won't be a nuisance for meat eaters, bc I don't judge people for anything. I'll be kind to you, and if you're kind to me too, then no boundaries will divide us.
