Overview
About Me
Being a student by nationality and an introvert by religion, I adore travelling, since it gives me the ultimate feeling of freedom. Beautiful sceneries of different corners of the world pacify me and create a new sense of life. I'm in love with foreign languages, cultures and cities, though I never forget about my own country: there is still so much left undiscovered! All I need is tea in thermos, a ripe apple bought at the local market, and a good friend with whom I really feel like watching sunsets in new places every day afresh. And that's my primary goal. ^^
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm eager to leave my "comfort zone" - just like lots of people who get tired of routine and boundaries. And I want to go on the road! The road attracts me most of all, its freedom makes me feel fantastic as I find myself in a new city open to discoveries - like I'm a Columbus of our time :) That is why I'm here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* Travelled to South America without money nor knowledge of Spanish and survived there for 3 years
* Went to Istanbul for 3 days totally on the spot for all my money, just to make my old dream come true. And totally messed up the relationship with an old friend by doing so xD
* Went to Odessa to see the sea in early March - on the spot, just to spend 10 hours in the city and come back without telling my Mom and anybody where I am :) There, right on the pier, I recorded a video-greeting for Mom - next day was March 8th. She was amazed ;)
* Got lost in Lisbon on the day of departure, and then had a phone talk with a Lisbon police officer :D
* Bravely (and unsuccessfully) hitchhiked in Spain in the most unfavourable conditions EVER!
* Wandered in the dark gloomy Carpathian forest at night with my friend alone. Creeeeeps -__-
* Fell in love with a dead poet
Teach, Learn, Share
Uhmmm, I can try to teach you Ukrainian, but I am not a good teacher, definitely I ain't... :D I am more of a life-long student than a teacher, though I passed 3 teaching internships in the course of my studying. Strange as it may seem, my students still love me and want to meet after classes... I can bet this is just because I am strange and red-headed ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, I'm not talkative but I'm a rather good listener. :) If you have something you would like to discuss, or rather open your heart to somebody, I am the right person for that - not a psychologist, merely a listener. Sometimes that's enough :) Besides that, I can melt your heart with Ukrainian souvenirs and my awkward but quite cute stories about my adventures and lifestyle in Ukraine... :D
