About Me
Hello! I'm a life-living, adventure-seeking, aspiring traveler! For the past 4+ years I have been working as an oncology nurse in the US, and now I'm craving some global travel adventures. I love making connections with people I meet while I travel, and hope to learn more about the world and myself through my travel endeavors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in being a part of a travel community where I can learn, grow, and share experiences with other people who also like to travel! I am new to this community and still have much to learn about what makes it so great, but am excited to be a part of and contribute to this community as best as I can.
Interests
My interests include, of course, traveling! I love to see and explore new places. My list of places I dream of visiting is much longer than the places I've been, and can't wait to get out there and see more of this amazing world!
My vocational interests are focused on interfaith cooperation and conflict resolution. I enjoy discussing areas of social justice, religion, and politics. I also try to move beyond discussing and really work to find ways to then go out and serve the community in hopes to make meaningful change.
I also love to workout out. Crossfit has been a great community for me to gain strength and be a part of something bigger than myself. I also love to play hockey and soccer. I'm willing to try new things and love any sort of outdoor sport!
I also love to just relax and hangout with friends and listen to music.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music I love to dance so anything up beat makes me happy.
As far as movies, I love both the rom coms and documentaries. It really depends on my mood as to what I will watch.
My favorite books tend to be nonfiction narratives. I really enjoy reading inspirational memoirs as well as those with a call-to-action message. Podcasts have been filled more of my time these days, and love recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was able to meet and introduce His Holiness the Dali Lama at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum! I can definitely say this is one of the most amazing opportunities I have ever had. Just thinking about this experience makes me smile and would love to share more of the story if interested.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and share meals with old and new friends. My favorite meals come from making meals with the random ingredients I can find in the fridge and spices in the cabinets!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share time, laughter, and good conversation and food :)
